We enjoyed the central location of the hotel, as it allowed us to easily explore the gorgeous harbor and pleasant main square of the city. Additionally, the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. The on-site restaurant offered a fair number of interesting dishes, and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent, so was the lady working there. Well situated, near the Göta Kanal and the railway station.

Our bankcard was requested for guarantee when we arrived, and most of the charge was blocked at once. Later the difference was blocked twice which could have caused serious problems if we had been in the need of that money. Solving the problem was not satisfactory enough.

Location and breakfasst

Staff was not as friendly as other hotels.

Very good location, in centre of town and within walking distance to shopping, lake, sight seeing, canal, restaurants. Friendly staff. Free internet access. On street parking directly outside hotel. Double rooms very spacious. Breakfast good with food intolerances catered for without needing to ask specially, i.e. wheat free crisp breads and lactose free milk and yoghurt available as standard.

No swimming pool in the hotel

We stayed in a hotel located on the pleasant main square of the city, which was in the heart of the town center. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with all necessities, including a fridge, own bar, and coffee making facilities. The staff was very attentive and ensured we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet with lots of choices and nicely presented. there were options for low-cost parking available nearby and bicycles for rent.

Wi-Fi was slow and unstable, causing inconvenience during our stay.

This motel is pretty typical for Best Westerns in sweden, though a little pricier. The rooms make very good use of a small space, and our room was very clean. What we will remember most, however, is how the young woman who checked us in went way above what she had to do. We arrived after all restaurants in the area were closed, so she went into the motel's kitchen herself and made us sandwiches and brought them to our room! So thoughtful!

Not really comfortable with no strong customers' assistance

The view from the hotel room was amazing, overlooking the town center. The breakfast was tasty and there were plenty of options to choose from. The location was very central, making it easy to get around and explore the town.

The room was very small, it felt like there wasn't enough space to move around, especially with our luggage. The heating in the room was very difficult to control, it was either too hot or too cold. The new year's party at the hotel was a huge disappointment, there wasn't enough food or drinks and the entertainment was lackluster. the experience left a lot to be desired.

Excellent -except they could have a gym

It's a typical simple town hotel. Best for business people but fine for vacation travellers also.

During our Christmas stay, we were delighted to discover that the hotel room was charming and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. the location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious and filling options.

The hotel room was quite small and outdated. The bathroom was in crucial need of renovation and the windows had paint issues.
